Virginia City Nevada City

Dean, Carol and Barb checking out one of the stores in Nevada City
This is a music machine museum. Some devices still work. One played a polka for $1.00. Carol taught Izzie the basic polka steps.

Nevada City (or as we called it "The Bates Motel") is made up of over 50 1870's cabins that were either original to the town or moved locally to their present position. What an awesome experience. Yes, there is running water and electricity...but no alarm clocks or TV's.

Bar in the saloon adjacent to the hotel.

Walt can pour a mean cup of coffee at the Star Bakery !

We think Joe is full !

Audrey taking a picture of Jerry taking a picture.

A view of the 1860's.

What is it? A 2-story out house of course...with 2 seats on the second floor.
Our 'cabin' row.

Cathy kept everyone, including people from all over the U.S. entertained on the piano. This was in the "Bale of Hay" saloon. The manager is offering her a job.
